Owen Vanstone-Hallam | Solicitor
Owen Vanstone-Hallam joined Leverets as a solicitor in 2022 after working for a Magic Circle law firm in their Restructuring and Insolvency Department.
Primarily based in our Canterbury office, Owen acts on a range of disputes matters, with a particular interest in matters with a restructuring and insolvency angle. He has advised major companies, directors, insolvency practitioners and pension schemes.
In his previous role, he carried out contingency planning for the failure of Thomas Cook and subsequently advised the former directors of Thomas Cook in relation to the parliamentary inquiry into its insolvency. He has also advised the directors of a major company in relation to an Insolvency Service investigation and the directors of an insolvent Spanish company in relation to claims brought against them by a Spanish insolvency practitioner.
Owen brings to his practice broad transactional experience in planning and implementing restructurings for companies in a range of sectors including retail, construction, facilities management, oil and gas, and heavy industry.

BA (Hons) History from King’s College London
Accelerated Legal Practice Course and Graduate Diploma in Law, BPP Law School, London
Registered as a Solicitor with the Law Society of England & Wales
